KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL 7618 LIVING ROSARY

One of the service areas of the Knights of Columbus is the church and among the services/activities rendered in this area by the councils is promoting rosaries in the parish. It has been an annual activity within the district (P-27) to hold a Living Rosary participated by the members of the four (4) councils of the district. Every year, the venue transfers from one council to another.

This year, 2011, Council 7618 is the designated sponsor of the Living Rosary of the district. It was held last October 8 at exactly 4:00 pm at the Multi-purpose Hall of Mary Immaculate Parish Church. All 4 councils, 7618 of MIP, 9588 from Pilar Village, 12508 from San Isidro Labrador and 6238 from Holy Family, BF Almanza were represented by their current Grand Knights and respective members.

To draw wider involvement from among the parishioners, the traditionally exclusive participation by KC members was dispensed with and instead, KC 7618 invited all mandated organizations from the parish to actively take part and they were given their respective roles during the rosary. They were cooperative and enthusiastic and as a result, the Living Rosary was a resounding success.
